Antirrhinum F.1 Hybrid
These F.1 Hybrid Antirrhinums were primarily bred for the cut flower industry but it was soon discovered that they are readily adaptable to enhance our gardens with their glorious colourful spikes over a long period.
To raise these Antirrhinums it is best done in a cold greenhouse or frame but one of our staff has done it on the kitchen window sill, to hasten germination a little bottom heat is beneficial for January and February sowings, otherwise no heating is required. Full, simple to follow instructions on sowing and growing instructions are given with all seed purchased. Care should be taken when opening packets as seed is very small.
As with all F.1 Hybrid seed it is necessarily expensive, but we are confident you will appreciate the extra cost when you reap the results either as a bedding plant or as a cut flower. We offer packets containing 30 seeds in a well balanced mixture of 9 distinct colours including bi-colour. We also offer packets of 30 seeds in separate colours as well. Please see below for range.
